These pages will feature brands of kitchen units, appliances, worktops, tiles ... any product that you might use in your kitchen. They will tend to be national brands, available from a wide range of retailers ... but could also include more exclusive brands, from smaller companies which may be available on a regional basis.

At Advanced Kitchen Design we pride ourselves on our independence from the suppliers of kitchens and kitchen accessories ... but inevitably we have opinions and favourites. And there are also companies we wouldn't recommend.

One way of generating enough income from a web site to cover the costs of maintaining the site, is to allow Google ads to appear. I'm sure you're all familiar with them. Some sites have very little content apart from Google ads - and are there only to make money (from you clicking through to the sites that are advertising). It's a very sophisticated system and the adverts are closely targetted to the main body of text which appears ... but the site owner has no control over which companies advertise. If we allowed such adverts here, they could be from companies with poor reputations, poor customer service and poor quality products. So you won't see any automatic adverts on these pages.

The companies listed here pay a small fee, so their entries are adverts, but they can't get here just by paying the fee, they have all been invited to appear and, as far as we know, they are all reputable companies with good quality products. Companies that aren't willing to pay the fee can also appear on this website - if we like their products - they are listed in the Useful Resources pages. If you'd like to see a particular brand featured here - then feel free to suggest it.
