If only there was a simple way to find a really good kitchen fitter. Unfortunately, it's not easy. Recommendations from friends are good but if none of your friends have had kitchens fitted recently, or you've moved into a new area - what do you do?

What to Look for When Choosing a Fitter

Ask for a recent customer to contact, give them a ring and ask how things went ... although it could be a friend, sister or other relative that you're talking to ... there's no way of telling. Go round and visit one of their jobs, if possible, and ask about VAT and insurance and whether there are any guarantees on their work. It also helps to have the quote for the work in writing.
