An independent source of kitchen design advice & ideas
If only there was a simple way to find a really good kitchen fitter. Unfortunately, it's not easy. Recommendations from friends are good but if none of your friends have had kitchens fitted recently, or you've moved into a new area - then this list may help.
I don't know all of the fitters listed here and I can't visit them all, to look at their work ... but I can ask them about it ... and I can ask for photos of kitchens they've fitted and also a picture of themselves. Being on my list isn't an easy option, so fitters listed here have gone to some effort to present themselves well.
THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO FITTERS LISTED HERE - WE'RE IN THE PROCESS OF COLLECTING DETAILS
Ron is a figment of Majjie's imagination!
If you're a fitter and would like to appear on this list then do get in touch ... or if you know a good fitter (who fitted your kitchen perhaps) then send me the details and I will contact them to see if they'd be interested.

Ron sent me this photo of a kitchen he recently fitted which I think looks great. White always looks fresh and that glazed corner wall unit breaks up what would otherwise have been just a big block of white. Those granite worktops look good too. See Ron's main entry.

I have very high hopes that this list will develop into a useful resource for finding good kitchen fitters ... but I can't guarantee the work of any of the fitters listed here ... you still need to make your own judgements.
Ask for a recent customer to contact, give them a ring and ask how things went ... although it could be a friend, sister or other relative that you're talking to ... there's no way of telling. Go round and visit one of their jobs, if possible, and ask about VAT and insurance and whether there are any guarantees on their work. It also helps to have the quote for the work in writing.
