Omega - who make Omega, Chippendale and Sheraton kitchens - have brought out a new, more upmarket, brand of kitchens which they have called Charles Rennie Mackintosh. It includes the "Framed", "Linear" and "Touch" ranges ... and they do certainly look the part, in the photos.
The Framed kitchens are traditionally styled with an inset framed look (without the butt hinges) but they also come in a modern high gloss finish (see above left, in the picture). Linear, on the other hand are much more contemporary in style, and include very trendy large radius curved units. The walnut finish is shown above right. The Touch kitchens are handleless versions of Linear.
These kitchens will be more expensive than the Sheraton kitchens which were previously the top of Omega's range ... but will be less expensive than the more well known, posh brand names and bespoke kitchens ... a position in which Omega perceived there to be a gap in the market. I'll be interested to see what unit sizes they have available in the new ranges.
