I mentioned this book in Majjie's Kitchen Design Guide 1: Before You Start (which is free to download!). I went to a talk given by Johnny Grey a few years ago (he's the bespoke kitchen designer's guru) ... and was very impressed with his ideas about "kitchen central" and how the kitchen should be the central hub of a house. I bought a hardback copy of the book straight away.

The book covers a lot of kitchen design principles ... but it's mainly suited to those who are planning to build a new house, or make major alterations to their existing one. And you need to be working with bespoke furniture for it to be really useful. It's not quite so suitable, if you have a traditionally sited kitchen that you just want to re-design, using standard kitchen units.
