I wrote about the Remoska - back in November 2008 - and how it could be a useful addition to the kitchen. I also own a Grand Remoska myself and use it quite frequently - it's ideal for anyone who's single and doesn't want to be always switching on their main oven (although I did outline a couple of disadvantages too - in my blog).
I find the Grand Remoska to be just about the right size ... but many people reckon that the Standard model is sufficient (even when there's two of them). Perhaps I'm just a glutton!
Actually, I think it depends what you want to cook. I tend to cook chops and fish cakes, and the like, in my shallow remoska pan, and to include some vegetables alongside for roasting. I use the deep pan for roasting chicken mainly. If you wanted to cook stews and casseroles, then the smaller Remoska might suit better (although you can use a dish inside the larger metal pan).
The Grand Remoska 650 watt electric cooker has a stainless steel lid and glass viewing window. The deep pan holds 4 litres and is 32cm in diameter. The shallow pan, for the Grand Remoska, holds 2 litres and is an additional purchase at £29.79.
