An independent source of kitchen design advice & ideas
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and a number of retailers are supporting Breakthrough Breast Cancer by donating some of the profits from the sale of special pink goods to the charity. So ... if you fancy going pink ... you can do a bit of good at the same time.
Smeg have produced some of their retro appliances in special pink versions, for the second year running, and 10% of the profit will be donated on sales up until the end of the year. As well as the fridges, dishwasher and washing machine shown above, there is also a flueless, wall hung, gas fire which doesn't require a hearth:

The wallpaper shown in the top picture is Laura Ashley's Tatton Cerise ... which is washable and could look good on one wall of your kitchen ... or for something a bit less permanent why not treat yourself to a "Sweet Moments" bouquet of pink flowers from Marks and Spencer. There must be a little space in the kitchen where it would fit.

I have to admit I'm sorely tempted by M&S's milk chocolate bar with real raspberry ... but I fear that's now moving us well away from kitchen design ...!
