ELICA make some of the most stunning cooker hoods in the world ... so this one might seem a bit tame in comparison ... but if you're having a canopy extractor fitted into furniture, above a large hob or range cooker, then this is the hood I'd recommend.
It's 720mm wide x 289mm deep x 244mm high and has twin tangential fans and washable aluminium grease filters.
It must have 150mm (6in) diameter ducting, if you're going to vent it out, but it can also be fitted in re-circulating mode.
Maximum airflow is an impressive 750 m³/h at a noise level of just 46-64 dB(A).
The Elibloc also has a secret weapon ... for those of you with large and/or open plan rooms or particularly demanding cooking habits. It can be fitted with a remote motor situated on the outside of your property. The motor is housed in a neat looking stainless steel box 445mm wide x 480mm high x 170mm deep.
With the remote motor fitted, the maximum extraction rate is increased to a very impressive 1200 m³/h and the noise level is reduced to 33-51 dB(A). Of course, it costs a bit more ... but it could just be worth it.
