This tiny little kitchen is in an unusual house converted from a dovecote and the property is crammed with old beams and gothic features. It seemed only right that the kitchen should reflect that and a few gothic features have been included here too (have a look at the larder doors and the canopy).
A very rustic look was wanted, so some wicker baskets were included in the larder which was of reduced depth. This was to clear the door to the cupboard under the stairs – but it's not a bad thing for a larder to be shallow it's easier to see what's on the shelves
