An independent source of kitchen design advice & ideas
Part of the AEG-Electrolux Group. Swedish owned.
I used to regard AEG as being top of the range, with Zanussi in the middle (and very innovative) and Electrolux at the mass market, budget end. Things aren't so simple these days, though, and Electrolux has been re-positioned as the innovative brand - with the name tagged on to AEG.
Performance and reliability still seem to be good. My impression is that AEG-Electrolux are especially good for washer-dryers, washing machines, fridges, fridge-freezers and built-in ovens.
AEG, together with Electrolux, often pioneer innovative products. They were one of the first to produce a truly multi-function steam oven and look out for zoneless or flexible zone induction hobs. The Super Eco washing machine has won an award for Environmental Innovation.
