Achieve Stylish Living website

Achieve Stylish Living is an on-line store. It was set up by Cliff Jobson, ten years ago, after his experiences when replacing his own kitchen. He was unimpressed by the four kitchen designers he met, all of whom tried to tell him what he should have in his kitchen ... instead of finding out how he used the room and what he wanted. He ended up designing his own and ... when it met with widespread admiration ... he decided to set up his own kitchen design and supply business. Doing that on-line seemed to make sense, since Cliff's background was in design engineering and he was familiar with computers and the internet.

Second Nature's Maki kitchen

Achieve Stylish Living supplies kitchens with Second Nature or Burbidge doors, or a range of high gloss doors called Solari, which also come in a handleless style with integral scooped handles.

Many of the kitchens can be ordered directly on the website, as complete units, but if you can't find what you want then you can fax or e-mail your plan for a price. Or, if you have any queries, then phone up and have a chat with Cliff, or his production manager Mark.

The carcasses are very good quality. They're made from 18mm Egger MFC, with 8mm backs and 120 degree, soft close hinges, with screw cover caps.  The drawers are Blumotion Intivo, soft close, full extension - in Silk White - as standard (or you can upgrade to Terra Black). You can also order non-standard carcasse sizes.

Delivery is all organised in-house - Cliff doesn't trust a courier company to deliver his kitchens - and there's a charge made, depending on whether you're in England and Wales, or in Scotland. There's also a minimum order value for kitchens of £500. That's not to say that you can't have just a couple of units ... but you'd have to pick them up from Northampton.

Cliff now has a showroom in Northampton - which has an entry in our Midlands area - please have a look there for further details. He's not planning on giving up his internet sales - but Achieve Stylish Living is different from many internet suppliers in that they're not interested in sales where price is the only deciding factor.  Cliff really cares about the quality of his kitchens.

Comments

I'd like to vouch for Achieve Stylish Living (ASL). I'm a small, independent, kitchen designer & fitter in Berkshire - fitting all makes ... from IKEA / Howdens to £30k+ designer kitchens.

For the last 4 or 5 years, whenever a client is a candidate for a Burbidge or Second Nature kitchen (they often wrongly assume they could not afford such a thing), I have encouraged & assisted them to buy from Cliff at ASL. Why? The service level & product quality are excellent, and the kitchens consistently arrive on time, complete, and in perfect condition (a rarity in the kitchens business, I am sad to say) - making my job easier, and the client happy.

The icing on the cake? ... the price tends to be very attractive compared to the offerings from national retailers who advertise on TV & national 'trade only' suppliers.

On the VERY rare occasion that there has been a problem, ASL have been VERY responsible & responsive. So, 2 years ago, my wife & I (finally) replaced our own ailing kitchen. Yes, you guessed, a Second Nature one from ASL.

P.S. Cliff does not even know I have written this.

Thanks, Guys.
