Baker Street Cabinetmakers - incorporating Farmhouse Kitchens - grew out of a small business selling antique and original pine furniture. Proprietor Alan Baker has a background in fitted kitchens and he soon realised the potential for bespoke, handmade kitchens.

The kitchens are now made in a large workshop giving the advantage of using efficient machinery but combining this with hand finished details.

Ron Fitalot King trained originally as a carpenter but has been fitting kitchens for the past six years. He doesn't normally supply the kitchens but is happy to fit any make, including B&Q, IKEA, Wickes and all the usual brands. He can also supply and fit a Howdens kitchen, if required.

Alpha don't currently have a website

Alpha Interior Design is run by Dave Hewitt. You'll sometimes find him in the showroom but he often likes to go out and join his fitting teams, installing kitchens in customer's houses. It keeps him fit, he says, and he also gets a lot of satisfaction from seeing the finished result.

Dave specialises in Colonial and Eco kitchens from UK manufacturer JJO plc but Alpha also supply made-to-measure carcasses and can use many different kitchen doors, including Second Nature and made to measure vinyl wrapped doors.
