Kitchen Trolleys

Kitchen Trolleys

There are lots of reasons to have a kitchen trolley, especially in today's larger kitchens where you may have more than one working area. Your trolley can move around with you. It's especially useful to have a trolley with a drawer, so that your favourite cooking and food preparation utensils can go walkabout with you too.

It can also be useful to have a mobile stretch of worktop, if you're forced to put a cooker or hob in an awkward position where there isn't worktop both sides. This is particularly common with range cookers and today's larger hobs, since possible locations for these may be limited, in smaller kitchens. Using a mobile trolley to work on, means that you can temporarily block a thoroughfare or another appliance, just whilst you're working at the hob.

A trolley with an end grain timber top can be used as a mobile chopping board. It can provide a generously sized chopping area ... without threatening you with a hernia every time you lift it out of the cupboard.

A larger trolley with a plain top can simply be used for handy storage against a wall ... but can also be moved out of sight and out of the way when you're entertaining.

A good quality trolley - which isn't imported from China, or some other exotic location - isn't going to be cheap but it's very much an investment for your kitchen ... and don''t forget you can always take it with you, if you move house.

The overall style is fairly plain ... to fit in with any style of kitchen ... and don't those black painted legs show off the maple to good effect. Although, if you want a plain maple finish throughout, you can have that too.
