Phew! The Kitchen Design Guide is Finished.

The Kitchen Design Guide will be available to download later this week. Many apologies to those of you who were waiting for the completed guide. It has taken me much longer than I expected to finish it off. Have you ever tried writing down everything you know, about what you do for a living?

Of course, one of the major characteristics of my guide is that it won't ever be completely finished. The whole point is that it will be periodically updated, so that you can be sure that the information you are downloading won't be out of date (unlike a conventional book on the subject which can soon start to look dated).

The section on buying a kitchen, for example, includes my impressions of what's available from the main multiple suppliers (the ones you find in every major town) and how I got on pricing my sample kitchen with each of them. I plan to update that information every year.

I would also love to hear from you. Once you have downloaded a copy of the Kitchen Design Guide please let me know what you think and make any suggestions which you think could improve the guide for future purchasers.

In the meantime any developments which I think are important will be included in my newsletters.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Majjie

Edit: apologies for the further delay. It takes longer than you'd think to set up and test a secure system for taking your money! I've been able to provide a few copies of the guide on cd but it is now (1st June 2007) officially available to download - ta ra!

I was really impressed by the guide and thought it was just what we needed to help with the design of our barn conversion. Nothing else like this is on the market and it has all the information we need in detail. The pictures help us visualise just how we want our kitchen.
Thanks Fiona - glad you found it useful!
