Fancy a Pink Cooker?

Well, technically the colour is called Pomegranate ... it's been introduced by Stoves for their modern looking Sterling range cooker ... in the "Flavours" colour series.

Coconut (white) and Jalapeno (dark red) are also available ... but that pink is lovely!

The Coconut colour has also been introduced into the more traditionally styled Richmond cookers, for which the more vibrant colours; Papaya, Jalapeno, Aubergine and Sushi have been available for some time. I mentioned them in my September 2007 Newsletter. This is Aubergine:

You need to be careful with vibrant colours especially if - like on a range cooker - they'll be with you for a long time. The pink is less assertive and it would look good with an otherwise white kitchen ... or it could blend well with walnut ... with perhaps some more pink in the worktops or splashback. Of course, you need to like pink in the first place ...

Ooooo!! I love it. Darn, now I just have to wait for my black and chrome cooker to break :( Congrats on the site launch by the way, the blog is fabulous.
Lol ... it's not often I hear people wishing their appliances would break!

Thanks for your comments about the web site.

Well I'm waiting for my fridge to break at the moment, ha ha.... ;) Actually it has broken in areas, it's just that I've been spending loads on other things over the last six months though so can't afford a new one yet. I'd love something pretty :)

I can't believe all these people are waiting for their appliances to break down!

I suppose there's no guilt if you have to buy a new one.

Smeg are good for pretty fridges ... and they do dishwashers to match these days.
