Induction Hobs - an Update

So how have things changed in the meantime?
What Kitchen to go with China Blue Appliances?
by Majjie | Mon, 21/06/2010 - 19:14I've had a question from Caroline - asking for some ideas as to what sort of kitchen would go with the Falcon range cooker and fridge-freezer that she's decided to buy - both in China Blue.
She hasn't given me any clues - as to whether she wants a modern or traditional look - or as to what her kitchen is like ... big, small, well lit or dark. I thought I'd have a look at a few options though ...
My first thought was that a cream kitchen would look good:
French Style Range Cookers
by Majjie | Sun, 20/06/2010 - 12:07You may have noticed, in the glossy magazines, that Rangemaster have just launched a pair of French style cookers, the Rangemaster Elise SE and the Rangemaster Elise 110. I'm usually a fan of Rangemaster cookers - but I have mixed feelings about these.

Stop Press ... Britannia Cookers Cook Well!
by Majjie | Sat, 19/06/2010 - 14:45I've been to Bunny Appliance Warehouse today - to see a cooking demonstration by Britannia. Your intrepid reporter working on a Saturday you see? What do you mean? I went to sample the food? That was naturally a part of the process - I was forced to sample the (delicious) food myself, of course, in order to judge the cooking performance.
Planning a New Kitchen for a New Build Home or Extension? Design it Early!
by Majjie | Sat, 05/06/2010 - 11:03I've been very busy recently and quite a high proportion of the designs I've been working on are for new build homes and, especially, kitchen extensions. People still seem to be extending their existing home, rather than buying a new one (as in buying an existing house) ... and there's quite a bit of housebuilding going on at the higher end of the market - the one-off, individual houses.
