What's New?

 Well, it's all systems go for the New Year now - after a slight hiccup in the form of colds and coughs (us and half the country it seems!). We have new kitchen canvas pictures in Majjie's shop ... vegetables on a black background:

Do you need a new wok? The popularity of induction hobs has meant that many people can no longer use their old round bottom pans - but there's a new breed of flat bottom woks, that are suitable for induction cooking.  This red one is a Special Buy from John Lewis and is now just £12.

It's 260mm in diameter, made from carbon steel and is ready to use - no need to faff around seasoning it before you use it - although it will need hand washing. 

Is your kitchen big enough for an armchair? Lots of people would like a sofa in their big new kitchen - but it's often easier to fit in a chair (or two). We love this Kenilworth black leather chair from John Lewis. It's modern looking but comfy too - a Special Buy whilst stocks last at £699.
